This full moon healing circle will be chocked full of good juju as I will be freshly home from a\u00a0sabbatical retreat out of the jungles of Peru! Join a sacred moon circle setting,\u00a0be cleansed energetically with shamanic practices and tools, release patterns that no longer serve you, drum journey to gain guidance and support and so much more. A fire ceremony will be incorporated if time and weather permit.<\/p>\n
Shamanic healing circles give great support, especially in rocky times and chaotic challenges. Clean, clear and reset within a sacred space of honor and respect.<\/p>\n
Katherine will open a medicine wheel, calling the allies of the directions, as well as connecting to Great Spirit. You will be cleaned and cleared individually and collectively within the group experience. Katherine will use sacred smudge or sacred tobacco to clean your aura, and offer agua de florida (flower water with prayers) to raise your vibration. Each person will also receive a healing within the group container. Various shamanic instruments such as drums, rattles, feathers, and prayers will be used in the process to raise your frequency and restore your soul.<\/p>\n

Katherine Skaggs<\/strong> is a shamanic practitioner who has trained internationally with indigenous shamans for the past 11 years. (Shipibo Shamans and their traditions from the Amazon Jungles of Peru, Huichol traditions from Mexico, Qur'o traditions from the Andes, as well as Native American and other traditions from shamans around the world via her teachers in Santa Fe, NM.)<\/p>\n Previous to shamanic work Katherine trained in various energy healing modalities (reiki, light language healing, sacred geometry light language healing, and other ancient in-depth metaphysical energy work and practices.<\/p>\n Katherine's goal and prayer is to act as a hollow reed to facilitate your healing, and bring greater harmony.<\/p>\n Shamanic Healing is an ancient practice of healing that encompasses the spiritual dimension of healing, as well as the mental, emotional and physical healing. Shamanic medicine healing practices are multi-cultural, found among indigenous peoples around the globe, and date back more than 25,000 years.<\/p>\n Fundamental concepts of shamanism:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n 1. Everything is alive. Everything has spirit and awareness. A shamanic practitioner is a \u201chollow bone\u201d for Spirit, whose job is to bring balance and harmony to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions for an individual, a community or group, for a home, land, or any object or being. This also can be applied to anything that exists.<\/p>\n Shamanic healing takes place in many forms, depending on what intuitive guidance is received from Spirit. This can include plant, herb and mineral spirit medicine, the use of song and other instruments to move and transform energy, visualization, soul retrieval, extraction, hands on shamanic massage or physical body manipulation.
