Each designated Saturday Meeting we will gather in a safe, ceremonial space for learning universal shamanic wisdom and practices, drum journeying, soul remembering, and creating shamanic tools. We will also meet virtually on Zoom once monthly at an agreed upon evening time for teleconference and check-in, to maintain and ground our teachings into our every day life, to build community and to gain support. Your zoom calls are equally important as the Saturday sessions. Please plan on them too.
The content of the course will include foundational Shamanic teachings, the wisdom of the Medicine Wheel, and shamanic practices for living life empowered and awakened, AND making your own shamanic tools! You will receive everything you need to shape shift your life into greater harmony and empowerment for a joyful life.
Each meeting we will also make ceremonial, shamanic tools associated with the work of that month. This is an exciting and expansively empowering part of the class, awakening your creativity and much more.

Tuition includes course materials, teachings, and all materials to make your shamanic tools. Recommendations for additional supplies may be given, but are not mandatory in most cases. It is time for our harvest, our completion, graduation and honoring of the hard work and play we have put in learning together, creating tribe together, and preparing to move to the next level of experience in our lives. Plan on an all day affair, to recap your learning and use of your tools, to give gratitude, and to celebrate.
The morning will be set aside to honor our tools and what they have taught us so far, as well as how else we may take them into our personal practices, and any offerings we may choose to offer others.
Graduation DespachoIn the afternoon we will work with the Andean Medicine Ritual of a Despacho. This ceremonial ritual will be dedicated to the blessings for each student and the clan of your 2024 Artist Shaman Healer Sage as you go into the world. It will be a time for each student to offer blessings to each tribe mate in the ceremony, and to make an offering to Pachamama for the blessings to bring harmony to our clan and to all of our kin on earth.
Let's celebrate! You will bring some food to share with your tribe at lunch as you celebrate your transformation and honor one another.

The application process is really very simple for you to enroll and learn profound teachings in shamanism. I am accepting students who are interested in the subject matter and course work.

Monthly attendance for both the Saturday class and the zoom call is required, along with your desire to learn, your openness and willingness to adopt and try new practices monthly, and your agreement to put your best effort forth qualifies you to join the course.

There is nothing terribly rigorous about this shamanic course. However, you do need to be able to walk at least a mile on the flat lands in Colorado. It is also best if you are able to do short hikes in the foothills near Katherine's home. There will be a few short morning outings to be in nature, to gather her wisdom, energy, and often times found items. First class (weather permitting) there is a morning outing for some of the teachings and experiences. Other classes will have similar teaching opportunities outside when possible. Some may be in Katherine's backyard, some in the foothills.
Classes are held at Katherine Skaggs' studio in foothills in Fort Collins, Colorado. We meet each month on the day indicated on this event page. Doors open at 8:30am. You are encouraged to come between 8:30 and 8:45am so we can begin promptly at 9am each month. We are complete by 6pm that same day.

New Year's Eve Divination Mapping is a process that Katherine learned from her dear soul sister Sage Holloway (author of the Mythical Goddess Tarot and Animal Healing and Vibrational Medicine.) The process incorporates ceremony, creativity, intuition, and a variety of divination tools to integrate the movement from one annual cycle into the next. A map is created for the understanding and integration of 2025, as well as release of all you want to leave in the past. Then a divination/visioning map is created for the invocation of a beautiful and potent 2025. In this process we invoke our guides and allies to assist us in creating positive and potent experiences, as well as to reveal the patterns we are working with, so we can gain support and clarity for the best outcomes in riding the energies at hand.

Bring Tarot Cards, Oracle Decks, Runes, Divination Tools and Colored Pens/Pencils:Bring your own divination tools such as oracle decks, tarot cards, runes, blessing cards, etc. Special colored pens or pencils if you have them.
Be prepared to open the wisdom and knowledge of your own soul path. You are able to see more deeply into your life, and this process will assist you in finding more of your power, as well as understanding how you can create more intentionally a beautiful life.
Katherine will also provide an array of various oracle cards, tarot decks (including the Mythical Goddess Tarot and the Masters of Light Wisdom Oracle), angel cards, and runes, etc. as well as the art supplies for the mapping process.
You will also be served with refreshments of hot tea, cider and holiday treats for the evening.

In the course of the 13 moon cycles we will go deeper into Ancient Shamanic Wisdom Practices, many born of Ancient Mystery School teachings, for personal empowerment and healing. Every practice and teaching will give you the opportunity to better know yourself, and gain greater mastery in all areas of your life. Whether you are a shamanic healing practitioner or a practitioner dedicated to greater connection to the Divine, you will walk away more empowered and connected to the mysteries of the Soul.

The Advanced Shamanism Meets Mystery School 2025 program is for those wanting to further develop their practices and understanding of working the shamanic pathway and ancient mystery school teachings for growth, empowerment and awakening.
Each meeting we will explore the topics listed below (most likely in the order given for the most part). We will work with the container of the Medicine Wheel to continue to hold our class container, working with the cycles of the Earth and what our Earth Mother has to teach us. You will work with shamanic journey and inner practices through the meetings in-person and online to develop your ability to contact your inner Self and spirit helpers for direct knowing.
The first Winter Quarter Meeting begins our time together. We'll dive deep into the intersection of Shamanism and Mysticism. We'll explore more of the ancient wisdom teachings, Divine Law, as well as undertake new exercises, and practices to deepen your inner knowing and channel. You will work in how to integrate these into your daily lives for greater harmony, self-awareness, and spiritual power. Now is the time to recognize and empower yourself as soul having a human experience with greater happiness, joy, and harmony. You will begin your Soul Mapping project, which is a project to work on over the year of this course. Each Quarter I will also include Gods/Goddesses who work with the energies of each part of the medicine wheel for you to further explore as allies.
As we enter Springtime we will work with spiritual understanding of the inner levels of consciousness, further dream work monthly in zooms or where possible, understanding the ancient teachings and practices of manifesting, the power of the spoken word for healing and creating, and working with the elemental energies to create, to heal, and to release that which does not serve. Shamanic journey spaces and meditations will be given to work with each area.
As we enter Summer we will work with the light, expansion, and illumination. We'll also work with setting containers of light that bring protection, as well as support growth. I'll introduce how to work with Sacred Geometry and its life giving forces for illumination of consciousness, and well-being of your physical and spiritual self. Then we'll move to work with candles and their elemental magick for bringing in light, as well as creating your desires.
As we enter Fall we will join to celebrate all we have created, all we have harvested, and all we are letting die. We will work with the power of harvest and gratitude as a super power on how we create. We will explore healing limiting stories that block our success, identifying and healing soul loss at deeper levels, soul retrieval for self and other, ancestral healing work.
Upon our 13th month meeting we will gather together in celebration of our time learning and growing individually and collectively as tribe. Prior to January 2026, as a tribe we'll plan a graduation ceremony day where each of you will step up to share your harvest, your wisdom, and reflections on what your soul mapping has brought you.
We'll plan a ceremony to bless each person and her gifts, as well as a place to share of your gifts.
You will have an assignment to bring a blessing of some sort to the group. This blessing is born of your learning journey and soul expansion. It can be a channeled message of love and empowerment. You can bring a story to tell that is uplifting and guiding. Whatever your blessing it is to help others focus on their light, on the truth of love and light guiding each person. This will be your time to shine as one who is the Divine Light, and one who shines her light into the world to support and uplift herself, her sisters, her family, and ultimately all of humanity.
Requirements to join: This is for all ASHS graduates who want to go further, deeper, wider, higher on the path! A commitment is to all meetings is expected and required as a prerequisite to this advanced study and participation. Must be able and willing to participate in ceremonial work, as well as all homework and monthly Zoom calls. This is a place to build relationships and the community of Tribe through the group participation.
Each participant is responsible for his own travel costs and any additional costs of lodging or food when not at Katherine’s Casa.
