A Message of Elder Wisdom for September’s Soul JourneyShe is older than time, yet alive within the pulse of this present moment. She is the Elder who remembers when stars were first born from the womb of the Great Void. She has walked as woman, as healer, as seer, and as midwife to countless ages of humanity. She has sung the soul home through the birth canal of Earth, and she has walked back into the starlight, returning again and again.
The Ancient Grandmother is a bridge between the Earth and the Stars. Her essence is etched in the very fabric of creation, her memory carried in the bones of mountains and the spiraling galaxies above. She is an Ascended One whose wisdom has been tempered across eons—shaped through fire, sorrow, ecstasy, silence, and rebirth.
Owl is her ally and companion. The two are inseparable, for Owl is the great seer who pierces through illusion, carrying the golden flame of discernment. Owl medicine teaches us to sit in the darkness until our inner vision opens. Together, the Grandmother and the Owl hold vigil for humanity, whispering guidance through the thin places of the night.
Though she has walked upon Earth in flesh and bone, the Ancient Grandmother carries the memory of her starlight origin. She has come through the Sirius Gateways, where soul memory and divine remembrance are restored. She carries within her the Lyrian Fire of the first flamekeepers, who safeguarded the codes of creation when humanity was young. And she has walked among the Andromedan Star Mothers, learning the sacred patterns of the cosmic loom.
Her essence is not bound to one star system alone. She is a Weaver of Lineages. In her presence, you may feel the pulse of the Pleiades, the Sirian waters, or the Lyrian fire. Her voice carries the resonance of the Cosmic Mother who has many names, yet whose face always feels like home.
When she appears now, she is choosing to walk between dimensions, bringing the starlight wisdom back into the soil of Earth. She comes as the Ancient One precisely because humanity is at a threshold: a turning of ages, a spiral of endings and beginnings.
September opens with the turning of the seasons and the stirring of the soul spiral. We stand in a place of transition, between what has been and what is being born. The energies on Earth are both chaotic and full of potential. Fear and illusion swirl loudly in the collective field. At the same time, a great remembering presses forward—souls awakening to their eternal essence.
The Ancient Grandmother steps through the veil now as guide and witness. Her presence is not sentimental; it is catalytic. She does not soothe us with easy words but invites us into true wisdom. She reminds us that wisdom is not born of avoidance—it is forged by seeing clearly, feeling deeply, and choosing love anyway.
Her timing is exact. As the soul spirals into September, we are being asked to shed the skins of old identities, to step away from blame and the comfort of victimhood. Her voice calls us into sovereignty and wholeness.
The Ancient Grandmother speaks: "Beloved ones, slow yourselves. Breathe into the marrow of your bones. You are more than the roles you play, more than the masks you have worn. You are children of the stars, seeded with memory and light.
Do not fear the shadows that rise before you now. They are not your enemies—they are teachers. See through them as Owl does. Notice how fear disguises itself as power, how illusion pretends to be truth. My eyes are your eyes. Together we pierce the veil.
You live in a time of great unraveling. Do not cling to what falls away, for it is not meant to remain. Trust the spiral of life. Trust that endings are also beginnings.
Return to love, again and again. Not the love that clings or bargains, but the eternal love that breathes from the heart of Creation. Anchor this love into the soil beneath your feet. Let it ripple out into your homes, your communities, your world.
You are not separate. You are not lost. You are in the remembering. Walk gently, speak truthfully, and see with the eyes of the soul."
The Blessing of Presence
Come into stillness. Her first teaching is to be here now. Presence is the doorway to wisdom. When we slow down, we begin to see what is hidden beneath the noise.
The Blessing of Discernment
See through Illusions. With Owl at her side, she blesses us with the gift of seeing through illusion. This month, you may notice old patterns rising. Her medicine teaches you to notice, to name, and to release what no longer serves.
The Blessing of Soul Remembrance
Remember who you are and what is true, what is love. She awakens the memory of who you are beyond your story. September is a time to recall your essence, to gather back the scattered pieces of your soul, and to walk forward whole.
The Blessing of Courage
Call for courage to move beyond fear. The path of wisdom requires bravery. She blesses us with the courage to face the unknown, to move beyond fear into trust of the Divine plan.
The Blessing of Love
Love is the only answer. Her deepest gift is love—an unbreakable, eternal love that sees beyond duality. She reminds us that love is both the path and the destination.

This month is not about rushing forward but about spiraling inward. The Ancient Grandmother calls you home—to presence, to discernment, to love. Her blessing is not only for you but for the Earth itself, for when you walk in wisdom, the Earth heals with you.
Listen to her voice in the silence. Watch for her in your dreams. Feel her presence when the night grows quiet and the Owl calls. She is here. She is always here.

Keeper of the Light
Our Ancestors are all who have walked before us. Typically we think of ancestors as our parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and all who share our DNA who have passed. Yet many tribal peoples have a larger view of who our ancestors are. The Lakota people say Mitakuye Oyasin, "All are my relations. Tree, water, sky, earth, animals, brothers, sisters, and those that have taken their spirit walk are our kin." The Q'ero people of the Andes say Kausay Pacha, "All is connected; all is an abundance of living energy. All is life, and all have the essence of love. All are children of the Great Mother and Father – in spirit and physical form." These Ancestors who have walked before us are the ones who have taken a physical body to experience love, sorry, joy, and the pain of being human. They have now moved into the Spirit Realm.
Because they have experienced human incarnation, they share both spiritual and physical DNA. They can have great compassion and empathy for the experiences and lessons you are experiencing now. They also have another perspective now that they are in the spirit world. They can support and give guidance, teachings, healing, forgiveness, and even protection.
Just because they are in the spirit realm doesn't mean they are more evolved than you. Some ancestors are more developed, and some are not. Some ancestors even receive healing because of your path of healing and awakening. They are in observation and respect your journey.
There are different types of ancestors you can call upon. You have familial ancestors born of your physical DNA specific to this incarnation. They can be helpful when working to heal specific ancestral patterns. They often offer much love and protection. You may even experience their gratitude as you can heal patterns born of this lineage.
There are also ancestors specific to land areas, known as Land Ancestors. These territorial or land ancestors are stewards and spiritual guides connected to a particular land or area/territory. Honoring these ancestors is highly beneficial when buying a home or property. Suppose you have a property with problems — such as a lack of property value, arguments in the house, bad water, accidents, and mishaps of any sort. In that case, you may want to get to know the Land Ancestors and Spirits and ask for their help. Working with them can more readily bring the property back to balance.
Spiritual Ancestors are lineages of Spirit beings that your soul repeatedly chooses to work with, such as archangel Michael, Buddha, Christ, Kuan Yin, Mother Mary, White Buffalo Calf Woman, etc. You may have had significant lifetimes in Egypt or as a Buddhist Monk, or in a particular religious sect. You may recognize this early in life though it may not make much sense then. An example of identifying a spiritual lineage may look like this: "I grew up Christian and loved Jesus, but I found myself reading the Tao de Ching and asking about reincarnation by the time I was a teen. Buddhism, Hinduism, and Egyptian mystery teachings powerfully resonated when I got into my 20s. The core teachings of Jesus resonated, but the religion's hell, fire, and damnation did not. Eastern religions and philosophies, metaphysics, and shamanism all rang true without question once they came into my awareness.
There are infinite possibilities, and a particular ancestor may reside in multiple "categories."
Being on planet Earth is a soul's learning opportunity. We choose our parents, siblings, and DNA lineage when we jump into a body. Every part of our soul's choice to incarnate offers opportunities to advance as a soul, whether it be loving or born of fear. Your DNA codes from your earth family carry gifts and challenges. There may be diseases that your parents, grandparents, and others in your DNA pool have again and again experienced, such as heart disease or cancer. As a soul, this does not mean you will get these diseases, yet it may show you a pattern that you will face. You may be the one to break the pattern and heal that which was not healed before you. Or the pattern is part of your learning and growth. Earth family DNA also offers many gifts. Often there are families who are all artists, or doctors, or musicians. These DNA codes may also be part of why you chose that DNA. You may want to carry on a particular focus from another life, or begin a new focus. The DNA supports either. Or you may be the different one who does not carry on with the family pattern, whether it be the gift or the challenge to heal.
Recognizing the patterns of your earth family is one of the first steps to healing in your soul's earth adventure, as well as offering healing to your family lineage. Looking backwards to your parents and their experiences, as well as their parents and beyond can give you greater understanding of what you inherited. The traces of trauma within the body of your mother, your father, your grandparents, etc. are passed on if they are not healed in that person (epigenetic.) These trauma patterns can manifest in different ways. Difficult relationship patterns, abandonment, broken heartedness, ill-health, etc. can all be passed on as patterns that you have to face to heal. Alcoholism, drug abuse, and other types of abuse are often sent through family lines.
We often choose our Earth family stories and DNA that mirror patterns we have been working on in other lifetimes. The learning, growth, and healing we take on in a life through our physical DNA patterns give us opportunity to heal misunderstandings and to bring more love into our lives. Karma is the indebtedness to ourselves to grow through mistakes and misunderstandings that we return to more love within ourselves, and for the world around us.
To heal it requires that you face the patterns and acknowledge them. By the time we realize there is a trauma pattern in our ancestral line we have most likely already begun to heal. Working with intention, energy work, shamanic journey, prayer work, altar work, meditation, etc. is a path inward to one's higher self, as well as ancestral healing. Shamanic journey work and healing can support the spiritual and psychospiritual work required to transform and transmute the pain of the past. Forgiveness is a very important part of the journey.
Having a safe and wise healer and guide can be a very important part of the journey.
As a mystic, shamanic practitioner, and one dedicated to my own journey of healing the wounds of the soul, and of a sensitive being who feels all the pain in this world, I find there is a journey to be acknowledged on the path of come to love, to peace, and to wholeness. This path of the mystic often involves big initiations through suffering, stepping into and through the dark night of the soul, shamanic death and dismemberment. This is a sacred journey for the wounded healer, the mystic, the shaman, and the light worker. It is not an easy path.
The Divine understands the purpose of suffering is to lead us toward wisdom, strength, and ultimately empowerment. There are loving Divine Beings of great wisdom dedicated to helping us alleviate suffering without depriving the soul of growth it can bring. We can call upon them when our pain is too difficult to bear, including the anguish we feel when faced with the struggles of others. This is ultimately for the benefit of all beings, and not just the one.Call Kali, Ganesha, Archangel Michael, and all your Heavenly Heroes to support you. There is great transformation at hand for us in these times. May we be persistent in calling in our helpers, angels, and Heavenly Hosts of Heroes (a term my selenite sword maker friend Tom Ledder coined for the masters we call who are best to help us - Archangel Michael, St Germain, Ganesha, Jesus, Mary, Kali, Durga, etc… who is on your team?)
As we enter October 2023, what do we need to know, and who are here to help us individually and collectively? What is the guidance to bring us into harmony personally, as well as in our collective reality?
Trust your intuition! You know the way. Trust your self and your relationship with the divine. When you go within you always know the way. It is within you if you will stop and be still, observe. Put your focus on synchronicity, magic, and messages coming from within and all around you. Remember that whatever you focus on will expand. If you are looking for the next step, be curious and open to synchronicity, signs, and symbols in your physical reality that align with your inner knowing.

The Violet Flame is a powerful light that helps to clear past errors, mistakes, and low vibrations. Step into this Violet Flame to be restored as you are able to transmute what keeps you in suffering. Visualize and imagine the Violet Flame energy in your hands until you can sense it, feel it. Then place into your heart space and expand through your body, and your energy bodies. Bathe in its energy to clean you and to raise your frequency. Lord Gautama the Buddha is here to remind you that your thoughts and words create and destroy. Notice what you seed into your world through your voice, and through the way you think and believe. You are constantly creating through thought, through word, and through your reactions and responses to your world. Be mindful and speak with words of loving kindness to create peace. Speak these words for yourself, as well as for others. This will cultivate compassion and assist you in creating what you truly desire through love.
Who and what is our final guidance and message?
It is time to nurture your body and all of your life. Your life is a sacred garden. Give it light, water it with love, give it focus with care. Compost the shit and all you want to let go of. Give it over to Mother Earth. Put beautiful, loving, caring energy into your body, and into all of your life, and you will have an abundant harvest in all you are creating.
Today is a new day. How shall we show up to create in greater love and harmony? Be present and follow the guidance of the Divine. Anything is possible. Why not create in love and experience it returned beyond anything we can imagine? What if... it only got better? Ponder that and see what happens as you incorporate your Divine Guidance for October 2023.
Healing with Our Ancestors is a path of soul healing, physical DNA Healing, and one that sends healing backwards and forwards through generations. This path of healing our ancestors can also transfer to others outside our physical DNA, assisting all of humanity in healing.
