Calling all women to join in a ceremonial wisdom circle on the Winter's Solstice, to move from the cycle of Autumn into Winter. We will welcome the depth of the winter's cycle of darkness as a time of regeneration and rest.
To begin our time together, you are cleaned with sacred smudge and tobacco. We then gather around the altar in prayer and intention, calling in our allies of the directions as well as our ancestors and spirit helpers. We are here to honor the reflective time of the new moon cycle as well as the guidance from our Winter Solstice Goddess Frigga. We also ask for guidance from the Mythical Goddess Tarot. This divination process is focused individually as well as collectively. During our time together we will also use shamanic journey to go deeper within.
With the specialness of the Winter Solstice birthing us from darkness into the return of the light, we will call upon Northern European Goddess Frigga in inspiration, invocation and blessing.
Winter Solstice Goddess Frigga of the Northern European traditions will hold us in her womb, nourishing each of us from the womb of the "Mother Night" darkness, into the Light once again. We shall call upon this beautiful Norse Goddess of Love to help us weave our destinies in nothing but love and expanding light. We shall ask her to protect us in our labors of unfolding love into our lives more greatly, penetrating our dreams of New Beginnings with nothing but blessings for the coming of the New Year. Frigga blesses us with the sacred creative energy of Fertility, intuition and protection as one passages from one stage of life into another, from death into the after-life and rebirth. This Goddess of Love and Divination is here to help us be in alignment with our true essence and Spiritual Self.

Each Full Moon Shamanic Healing Circle is the time to get a shamanic limpia, or cleaning, join in sacred ceremony to let go, to be grateful, to harvest, to fill up and regenerate. You will be cleaned and cleared in sacred, ancient shamanic healing modalities of the shipibo, huichols, qer'o and native american traditions. A sacred medicine wheel circle will be opened, and you will be given individual attention for a personal short healing, as well as a healing within the group setting. You can also bring prayers and put items on the altar, for yourself, friends, family community. These healing ceremonies benefit our world and are of great service to humanity... all because you show up and do your work!

The Ascension Goddess' journey into form and presence came after over several weeks in 2007. I was teaching a class on Intuitive Painting: A Journey through the Chakras. I had finished teaching the first class of seven, which works with the root or base chakra. We had left over red and black paint, so I encouraged two assistants of mine who stayed after class to grab the extra paint, some boards, and have at it with some expressive painting. Just let come through what wanted to express... Get your mind out of it and play, let the paint and Spirit tell you what to do.
When I got the red and black onto the board, I thought, "Hmmm, you are interesting. I wonder if I will keep you and who you will become." And that was it until two weeks later. I set the board aside with just the red and black paint and forgot about it for a while.

She told me she brought the feather as she thought it her medicine. After we met she was clear it was time this beautiful feather was to be passed to me, as I was awakening to my path to hold owl medicine blessings.
At the time of this story I am to tell you below, I had already begun my advanced shamanic practices with my teachers in Santa Fe. I am very curious as to where my bird allies are and the medicine they want to bring me. And so the story unfolds...
I had already had an amazing week of magic with my friend Denise Rodgers, a soul sista, shamanic priestess and partner in Sophia Psychic Readings and Healing Sessions. Denise lives in Texas, but comes here to work (and play) with me periodically. We just finished a cycle of readings and healings in Fort Collins. Somehow this great success propelled us both to two nights of shamanic ceremony in Santa Fe, a seemingly perfect culmination of the great fun, love and healing we had shared in this last week's cycle.
The Holidays are often full of excitement, friends and family, gatherings, parties, and even drama! This can be a time of fun, and a time of challenge. If you don't always like or have fun with the holidays and all the hub bub, here's some ideas to create your world with greater pleasure.

The goddesses are alive and well as I enjoy both channeling and painting the goddesses for the Mythical Goddess Tarot.
