Join in a ceremonial wisdom circle on the Winter's Solstice, to move from the cycle of Autumn into Winter. This Solstice is a time of harvesting the fruits of our labors, a time to be thankful and celebrate what has come our way over the past cycles, and a time to die to the outer cycle of growth. It will be a time to honor the cyclical movement inward into rest and regeneration. We are here to honor the reflective time of moving inward as the Sun moves farther away from Mother Earth, and there is more darkness in the cycle of Winter.
To begin our time together, you will be energetically cleaned with sacred smudge and flower water. We then gather around the altar in prayer and intention, calling in our allies of the directions, the elementals, our ancestors and spirit helpers.
Bring an offering for the altar that represents your gratitude, abundance, and time of movement within. You can take with you once you return home. Photos of family and loved ones, small statues of deities you work with, altar cards, stones/crystals, etc. are all perfect to fill the altar with love
Cacao Ceremony toDeepen your experience with a sacred cacao ceremony, honoring your heart and ancient traditions. Cacao is considered the medicine of the Gods. In this ceremony you will be given the opportunity to awaken love within your heart, bring healing to your body, guiding your wisdom and inspiring you to live from your heart. Angie Katz will be serving Cacao from the Boto Tribe in Costa Rica. They are a matriarchal tribe who honors the Cacao as the great mother.
Fire Ceremony and OfferingsWe will join together in a fire ceremony (weather permitting) to release the past days and months of our last cycles, and to purify ourselves in the energy of the fire. Katherine will lead you in this powerful shamanic ceremony to let go of the old and to bring in the new.
Winter Solstice marks the passing of the old year and the beginning of the new, from the elemental perspective of this Solstice being the shortest day of the year, with light returning afterwards. This can be a meaningful ceremony and time to release the old and prepare for the new light that begins to emerge post Solstice. Katherine will lead you in ceremony for transformation, honoring all that has been, and all that will be dreamed into being.
**Bring items to throw in the fire that represent things you are letting go of and what you are calling forth anew (must be made of natural, non-toxic items.) Suggestions are an acorn, a twig decorated with holly or other leaves, cedar, ever green, written notes of release, cotton rope (representing any cords you are letting go of), spices, dried flowers, dried fruit, etc.)
Given enough time, Katherine will give a group reading with the Mythical Goddess Tarot. The Goddesses are always welcome on this festive event, to bring their wisdom to support us in times of transition, death, and rebirth.
Solstice is a time to celebrate with the blessings of food and drink. Hot Cider and some snacks will be provided. Please feel free to add to the abundance of goodies by offering a favorite of your own... some cookies, a small dish to share, or other holiday favorite to warm the heart and please the body.

We shall call upon the Gaelic Winter Solstice Goddess Cailleach Beira, the Dark Mother, the Harvest Goddess, Crone, Queen of Winter, who watches over the dark part of the year.
This Crone, Wise Woman, Goddess Cailleach (from Scotland and parts of Ireland) will assist us in connecting to our inner wise woman. We will work with her through ceremony and ritual, as well as a shamanic drum journey. We call upon her ancient, elemental power of destruction to help release the low frequency energies within the old worn out ways and habits, so we may rest and regenerate. It is time to cast away the heavy, fearful ways that bind us and raise our frequency to that of compassion, and creation through unconditional self acceptance and love.
We also ask for individual and collective guidance from the Mythical Goddess Tarot to expand our vision and focus our clarity.

To begin our time together, you are cleaned with sacred smudge and tobacco. We then gather around the altar in prayer and intention, calling in our allies of the directions as well as our ancestors and spirit helpers. We are here to honor the reflective time of the new moon cycle as well as the guidance from our Winter Solstice Goddess Frigga. We also ask for guidance from the Mythical Goddess Tarot. This divination process is focused individually as well as collectively. During our time together we will also use shamanic journey to go deeper within.
With the specialness of the Winter Solstice birthing us from darkness into the return of the light, we will call upon Northern European Goddess Frigga in inspiration, invocation and blessing.
Winter Solstice Goddess Frigga of the Northern European traditions will hold us in her womb, nourishing each of us from the womb of the "Mother Night" darkness, into the Light once again. We shall call upon this beautiful Norse Goddess of Love to help us weave our destinies in nothing but love and expanding light. We shall ask her to protect us in our labors of unfolding love into our lives more greatly, penetrating our dreams of New Beginnings with nothing but blessings for the coming of the New Year. Frigga blesses us with the sacred creative energy of Fertility, intuition and protection as one passages from one stage of life into another, from death into the after-life and rebirth. This Goddess of Love and Divination is here to help us be in alignment with our true essence and Spiritual Self.
